90-Day Return Window
We offer a generous 90-day return window on most items purchased through sunguardoutdoor.com. You have 90 calendar days from the date your order was delivered to initiate a return for a refund or exchange.
- The 90-day period begins on the delivery date as confirmed by the carrier's tracking information.
- Returns initiated after 90 days may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of our customer support team.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation email, order number, or packing slip) is required for all returns.
Condition of Returns
To ensure a smooth return experience, please make sure your items meet the following conditions before sending them back:
- Unused or gently used: Items should be in their original condition or show only minimal use. We understand you may need to try a product to determine if it's right for you.
- Clean and free of excessive damage: Please clean any outdoor products before returning them. Items that show extreme wear, abuse, or intentional damage beyond normal use may not qualify for a full refund.
- Original packaging preferred: Whenever possible, return items in their original packaging, including all accessories, hardware, manuals, and tags. If original packaging is unavailable, please use a sturdy box to protect the item during transit.
- All components included: Returns must include all parts, pieces, and accessories that were included with the original shipment.
Items that arrive in a condition that does not meet these guidelines may be subject to a partial refund or may be returned to you. If we have any concerns about the condition of your return, we'll reach out to you before making a final decision.
Refund Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Step 2: Ship Your Item
Pack your item securely and include the RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the return to the address provided by our support team. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your protection.
- For standard returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- If the return is due to a SunGuard Outdoor error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
Step 3: Inspection and Processing
Once we receive your return at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item within 3–5 business days. You'll receive an email notification confirming that your return has been received and is being processed.
Step 4: Refund Issued
After inspection and approval, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow the following timeframes for the refund to appear:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days after refund is processed.
- PayPal: 3–5 business days after refund is processed.
- Store Credit: Issued immediately upon approval and sent to your email.
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued, including the refund amount and the method of payment credited.
Non-Refundable Items
While we strive to accept returns on as many products as possible, certain items are excluded from our standard refund policy:
- Gift cards and store credit vouchers.

Exchanges

How to Request an Exchange
- Email our support team at support@sunguardoutdoor.com with your order number and the item you'd like to exchange, along with the desired replacement item (including size, color, or model).
- Our team will confirm availability of the replacement item and provide you with an RMA number and return shipping instructions.
- Ship the original item back to us using the instructions provided.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll ship your replacement item right away.
Exchange Details
- If the replacement item is the same price as the original, no additional payment is required.
- If the replacement item is a higher price, we'll contact you to arrange payment for the difference before shipping.
- If the replacement item is a lower price, we'll refund the difference to your original payment method.
- Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your desired replacement is out of stock, you may choose an alternative item or opt for a full refund instead.
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging and shipping every order, but we understand that accidents can happen during transit. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, SunGuard Outdoor will make it right — quickly and at no additional cost to you.
What to Do If Your Item Arrives Damaged
- Document the damage: Take clear photos of the damaged item, the packaging, and any visible shipping damage to the outer box. This helps us process your claim quickly.
- Contact us promptly: Email support@sunguardoutdoor.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and the photos you've taken.
- We'll take care of the rest: Our team will review your claim within 1–2 business days and arrange for a replacement shipment or a full refund, based on your preference.
Our Commitment to You
- We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for all damaged or defective items — you will never pay to return a product that arrived in less-than-perfect condition.
- Replacement items for damaged or defective orders are shipped with expedited shipping at no extra charge.
